So for anyone in the future with the same problem. Avoid wsm driveshafts, tried 2 of them (brand new) and both were an 1/8' longer then oem. Also the splines weren't cut the same. Ended up getting a oem driveshaft and it fits perfectly.

I ran into this. You will need to index your midshaft forward in the bearing housing approximately 15-18 mm to make the spacing correct.

I had one of the first rickter fs1 and had major chipping problems on the hull. How are the next generation 2013-2014 fs2 hulls holding up. Is the paint as brittle?

Stumbled across these the other day, with the square wire hooks from the stock straps or whom ever it was making those one would have endless options for tank/pipe/battery straps.

Titanstraps look good. I'm checking that out now. I installed a limited Slip in my Edge as well and struggling with straps a bit. I really need two 3" ish ones and it would dialed.

Actually where did you attach the rear straps? I have two Blowsion hooks mounted to the front engine cover and that's where the 3" would be perfect. I have some but they aren't as strong as I prefer.

Also used industrial Velcro between tank and hull to help keep it from sliding

I have it in both my Rickters. Works great and doesn't require any modication. I have never used any other ball scuppers but this one seels up 100%. I would never use the flap again.

Just picked up a new to me fs2 evo and I'm kinda worried about the factory rickter scupper flap. Is the rickter specific versi plug better than the thrust rickter ball scupper?

I have had two Rickter flaps fall off of two different skis unexpectedly. I almost lost a ski one of the times.

The pwcdoctor versiplug doesn't leak if you silicone around the sealing edge. The oring does nothing.
Also with the versiplug you might get smoke in your hull during no wake zones, so don't go scratching your head too much if you do lol

I never had to silicone the ovp scupper and haven't had issues with exhaust flowing through the tube.

Maybe some hulls do things differently, my situation was on xfr. Very long no wake zone. Now ill go check out ovp lol. Thanks

I think the ovp scuppers have a bigger ball/opening then the versiplug.
