tell you what I rode one and had a blast that stock 701 was tuned nice but its really showed that hull and its potential. this ski is the most flickable ski I have ever ridden, turns super tight and I had alot of fun and would enjoy it for a flat water ski, it rode nicely balanced not too nose high but still very light and nimble. someday there will be one in the collection i think

damn i was really hoping this thread was not completely pointless

any one have any real info on this ski?

I guess I could have asked I was right across from there booth pretty Much all weekend.
whatever they are it's not going to be cheep. I did see prices on complete boats they ranged from 12 - 30k the tages where changed to SOLD faster than I could memorize the prices.

And the answer is $9500 carbon and 35kilo or 77lbs same as all other models
fiberglass 45kilo 99lbs $6500 not confirmed because my pricing book says $7800 i think it is wrong (but i am waiting on to double check this i could have sworn it was like fs models across the board except weight
also carbon look about the same weight as fiberglass
this weight is as they come turf, bracket, adjustable footholds, hood, hood clips ,
estimated delivery if ordered today is december /january
i imagine this will get faster but intially i presume this to get worse within the next week or so once al wf orders get processed

Thanks Brian - I am dissappointed in the weights though.

Was hoping they would have come down from a couple years ago with better construction, etc.

that is around 75lbs for a glass hull thats not bad at all all the rest is you still have adjusable footholds which makes a huge advantage over none adjustable for these short hulls .
this really is amazing riding hull and can change the sport and get some new faces into it for alot less money besides the hull cost .

Is all I know at this point is-I really want a XFT or Lightweight DE and cannot afford either one. I want to be able to learn the big air tricks without a dam boatwake, want a strong hull that don't break during the learning curve, does not weigh the same as what I already have, and makes financial sense. I have seen alot of new hulls hit the market and the issues shortly after-I don't want to be THAT GUY!!! Unfortunatly a wiseman once said -strong, light, cheap - pick 2.

Really? :lmao:

your information is conflicting...

is the fiberglass version *reported* to be 75lbs or 99lbs?

that is as it comes not the acutual weight of the hull itself like most builders advertise . so by the time you weigh out paint ,turf ,adjustable footholds , so forth you are around 75lbs
i am working on them to get me a stripped down weight to keep it fair with other builders . Not that it matters nearly as much with how well this hull rides for what it was designed for .
also you will notice most other hulls under that weight tend to have more long term durability issues

$6500 for the base hull.
$6500 for a jetski??? There was a local guy making custom race boats and selling them with a new trailer for $9000. He stopped making them because there was more demand for fiberglass bathtubs and shower stalls.

WTF is your point? You always have some comment about how cheap it should be to make something and you never consider R&D, marketing, dealer/distributor cost, advertising, etc. You act like everything should be sold for the cost of raw materials. It's supply and demand. RRP knows how to market it and create demand. Good for them. If a back flippable ski for under $10k is too much fo you then keep riding your crap and shut up

What he said ( with less aggression ) .

I'm playing around with a hull idea and doing the math for materials + light R and D + mold making time + mess ups ( who knows if if will ride like crap ) = a huge capitol investment in time and material for a very limited market . I see easily several hundred hours in a design and several thousand dollars to produce a production mold or molds . What about warranty issues ? The cost of a shop capable of producing " true commercial quality goods " , tools , property insurance , liability insurance , pollution controls , waste disposal , income taxes ......... am I leaving any thing out ? There are probably several other hidden costs . Remember it is a hobby to us , but hull makers and motor builders are trying to make a living . Thats what you are paying for . If you don't want to pay for any of that call Dan and he will hook you up . I love capitalism even if I can't afford it. The hull makers and motor builders earn every penny IMO .
