Wow, I didn't know him but this is very sad. Its so hard to see someone so young pass away. Matt, does this post imply that PTSD got the best of him? If so this really touches close to home for me as im sure it does for most of you on here. My family lost a friend to PTSD suicide and I have another friend that struggles with the thought of it every day. The ONLY thing that keeps my friend going is a new organization called Team Rubicon. Everyone on here should pass that organization name onto your combat veteran friends. Its a disaster response team that only uses veterans and trained medical personnel. My friend said its the only place where he can go and serve and feel like he still has a purpose. It also lets him experience the camaraderie that he says can only be achieved by serving with military personel. He has said over and over its the only thing keeping him going. Just last year he served with this group in Sudan, Colorado, and 3 other places that I don't remember. its fantastic for veterans. God speed my friendVery sorry all....I met him a couple times I think......very sorry. I have a relative struggling with PTSD right now and I worry about him every day.
