Wow in less than 6 months this thing has made some drastic changes, but I dig each and every one of them, except the green uke:

new progress continues. new pole mounted, X METAL -4 pole set up, ODI grips, E ROK WILBS chin pad, Motor put in and cleaned up with new mods from before.. JSS set my coil up.

what did you use to seal the gas tank cap?

i used Automotive grade adhesive silicone sealer in black and then rivited it down.

if your talking about the body of the ski i used fiberglass for backing then kitty hair body filler then glazing filler. and block sanding

i centered my hole with the hole saw got most of both then just took the angle grinder and grinded them down.. its super easy... just make sure u clean the tank after you do it

Looking very nice Andy. You've got me totally motivated to do my new RN this winter. You definitely have to paint it for me though. I've got some cool ideas.

Xeon, wow the ski looks great. I would think you were trying to get it back out on the water with the fast turn around. What else do you have planed for the winter with the ski out of the way?

WTF are you going to do for the rest of the winter?!? you pretty much gonna have to sit in the garage starting it up and huffing 2-smoke! that silicone you used for the gas tank...is it gas resistant? if any of it loosens off it can make it into the fuel system creating all types of carb cleaning issues.

i dident paint the bottom of my ski because i tend to beach it on rocks and boat ramps which wouild DESTROY the bottoms paint. the gel coat holds up good.


as for the rest of winter..... i will most likely pull the motor and do a big bore/ build

I did not do the bottom of my hull for very same reason! I gotta go w/the group on one thing tho, I would do one of 2 things w/the pole-either paint it to match w, the grey/green split, or do like u did the stock pole and wrap it w/c/f. U have done a KICK AZZ job. My hats off to u Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
