Did you guys know that this forum actually has a written rule stating that any thread mentioning WDK in the OP must derail on the first page or it will be deleted? Now you know.

PS: It's in hidden text on the Site Rule page.
Dont you need Suz i Q to derail your threads?

I just bought the ROK-R that was listed last night and I have some of the same concerns as some of the other guys. I had noticed that there weren't that many ROK-R's out there, yet they seemed to be changing owners quickly. That makes me a little nervous. Also there isn't a ton of ROK-R rider feedback on the forum, but I was able to find one comprehensive ride report that made me feel good about it. Obviously with any hull its all about what works for the rider and style of riding you want to do. I figured I would just have to buy it and try it. :)

GL with your new hull. Post up some of your thoughts after you get to ride it please. It may be helpful to others..

im not bashing, i havent seen or ridden one. but they fail to mention the girdled head, possibly race gas? or the trim. and port work? stock in someones eyes maybe different than mine. but i've seen some pretty hard hitting 701's. still impressive and would be nice to not have to put a lot of money into a motor. like i said Im not bashing. i'd personally like to ride one.

no other freestyle hull debut video says "kiss my ass" quite like that one!

he says pump gas in the vid. It was a mild 61x setup. It did have a mag pump but that's about it.

If you're going to flip a hull with a 701, you better have mag pump and trim or it ain't happening.

well i guess thats what i was getting at matt, we see it and maybe he knew we'd see stuff like that, but you cant see the pump, and a lot of people may not notice the trim lever. i dont know. still cool since the guys 275lbs

It was skill and short hull cause that 701 was running like crap. Smoke under the hood and just stumbling like crazy. It was a roach.

I like this thread so far. No bs, decent feedback.

That video was pretty cool as well.

I mentioned this in another thread; just because Rick Roy can FW BF a ski with a 61x, doesn't mean much to me.
But regardless, the video definitely makes a clear point. The Rok-R is a nifty little hull, and if you can pick one up already built I.E. skip the potential issues involved with dealing directly Jeff, I'm sure it will be a lot of fun. And there's a market for FW freestyle skis on here. You may lose a little money, but its almost a guaranteed sale. I mean, that last one did only last 2 hours.

I look forward to giving some honest feedback on the ROKR once the lake thaws :) I've never ridden or owned an AM hull so it will be hard to compare it to the competition. At the same time I think a lack of experience on an AM hull might make my ride report insightful. I guess we'll find out this spring.
