Just curious if anyone has made it out to the camping area in a full size 2wd truck with skis in the back.. I don't have 4WD but would tik with the weight of the skis it would push on through...

It's pretty soft sand. I have sunk a full size 2500 out there that was 4wd. But you may have better luck.

I probably wouldnt risk it.....you can really get stuck realllll fast. You could always park at the boat launch and haul your stuff over. Id I can get my Super Chicken running better, Ill bring it an loan it for people needing to haul stuff.

What's up guys, I'm looking to buy gunner_626's superjet but I'm in NY and he's down in NC -_- I was wondering if anyone is going to this event from my area that would be willing to bring the ski back up with them on their way home. I would not try it. Not sure what the beach is like this year but 4WD's get stuck left and right in the sand in past years, let alone 2WD. Weight over the rear axle wouldn't help. Plenty of friendly people at this ride though I'm sure you could meet up with them for a ride! We usually take several vehicles and leave a few at the local Walmart, just taking in the 4WD trucks.
I will be glad to help anyone out that needs a ride from the marina. You can either throw the ski in the bed or ride it and I will meet you at the camp spot. I'm starting the 701 wetjet swap this weekend. I was going to wait until after this event to do the swap but Rhaas sent my parts to quick and I can't stand looking at them on my desk. Can't wait for the event and making some new friends!

Yeah don't attempt 2WD on CB. Even with 4WD, I'll be rolling with 15lbs of air in my tires.
