For those who have tried the steering nozzles, are they finding they like a trimmed up version over a stock setting? Have an edge and curious if a trimmed up one is a good idea. Or even on a blaster
If no other responses come in, I'll give my honest opinion although I only ride Superjets currently. We recommend:
Zero -- Big surf (10-20+ft) and riding fast
+3 -- Smaller surf where I want the ski to be more playful and the nose a little less planted
+5 -- Small surf or river riding to make the SJ handle more like an aftermarket hull (you'll be surprised how true this is)
+8 -- When we're really bored or want to flip our SJ's on ~3ft surf, not the best for high speed but can be ridden at WOT
-2 -- I haven't tested this angle much on my own ski yet, but a friend with a Foot Rocket actually wanted his nose to come down, so he liked it. Also has some potential in racing I would think? I'm excited to ride this one next. Would be sweet for getting the ski on plane instantly.
We priced these so low to try to get people to buy multiples, that's the beauty of it. For $60 you can literally make your ski feel like a completely different hull. So much is determined by the nozzle.
