couple of bucks there as in couple hundred bucks each
glad I dont have to lift them , or clean out the chips those are going to make.

It's kinda funny, or sad really, 90% of the material ends up in the scrap bin.

The machine has a chip conveyer, they just dump into the handy dandy chip can.

I once had a machinist explain his job to me. He said that they take a chunk of metal, take off what the customer doesn't want and then give it to them. It seems about right, but that material removal sure can cost you.

That is a good one.

I always thought of myself as a hero. The part is captured inside of the material and I am rescuing it from inside. haha.

My job is boring sometimes. What can i say?

ya We have a job that starts at 400 lbs and ends up at 18 lb after 5 hours
