did you use polyester resin or west systems epoxy resin? polyester resin will delaminate from the SMC hull of the x2. just hope if you used polyester resin you roughed up the surface and prepped it VERY well...

his is waaay too tall, mine in the picture looked too tall so im cutting it down more,as for a point? none. I was trying to fair the front of the seat in to look good and I realized how much that big old seat made me mad. so i decided to make a poor mans new x2

Thats why I turfed mine. You don't sit on an X2 anyway, why have a seat? I sat on mine maybe two-three times max, just to take my girlfriend for a ride.anybody have a good idea for a seat latch or something for me? i epoxied in a nut in the back and i was going to do something for that but fairing the recessed spot is a PAIN. considering just a lot of 5200 since i never have to access under the seat anywayi have a little thing holding the front down that it slides into, but i just need to hold It from sliding back. im thinking a
load of 5200 would work. there is no need for the seat to ever come off except to recover it, in which case i could just peel up the 5200 by force. it may look cleaner with no bracket or anything especially considering how frick tired i am getting of FILLER GRRRRRR
