I would also have the rear end about 1/4" lower than the seat so you can turf it and have the turf lay flush with the seat.. A little bit of turf is better than landing on that solid glass slope. I'd also put an angle to the end of the gunwhale, they hurt BAD when you land on them. Slope them up a bit so you don't have that sharp corner to land on. Turfing the side of the seat would make it much easier to hug the seat with your feet, and you may not need foot straps for most jumping.
I like it. I think the dirtbike seat is cooler than turf alone. I like my high seat. I haven't ridden much with the high seat, but I know leg dragging would be an issue with that set up you have. I have heard w/ a shortened hull you don't need to leg drag as much, and not at all in the surf.
