Picked my brand new BPIPE up at the UPS terminal yesterday, slapped a new shipping label on it and handed it right back to the guy...LOL! He was confused. Pipe is going to XS for the stinger mod and porting.

Also called Chad up this morning and ordered an ATP EPIC CDI that will be setup for the 865.

EDIT: Just called Chad back and ordered the new XS waterbox. Going to try and make it fit in the FS2, if not I will install it in my roundy and steal the stock waterbox from that for the FS2.

hey shawn call rick at xmetal and have him cut the pipes down as far as possible on the new waterbox. he just hooked me up with one that i should be getting soon. said he made quite a bit smaller bc mines going in my q8.

Thanks man! For the waterbox....Absolute worst case, if I cant make it fit, I'll just toss the new XS box in my 771 round nose. And steal the stock waterbox out of that for the Rickter. Its nice to have options....lol You guys planning a NJ surf trip once things warm up? We need to get a bunch of sick boats together here. So many good ride spots.

Tonight I ordered new OEM hood latch, all hardware to bolt gas tank and waterbox down, new long exhaust tube, and some misc hose clamps and stuff. Finally just about done with the buying phase!

l took mine new xs waterbox to the welder and had him cut the exit pipe down 1" in length.lt was resting on the side of the hull (rok hull) and causing a mis alignment also with the limited chamber.Shawn,l would be surprised if that box won't work in the rickter.

Thanks Zack, Carl's stuff is the top notch! Your review of the Rickters inability to pearl was one of the big selling point for me...LOL

Thats what I want to hear. I have heard of one installed with the BPIPE, but I have no idea how ugly the install will be.

I made IDOK an offer he could not refuse. If you are going the dealer route....Its just STUPID expensive to get a new complete oem electric system. (But def worth every penny)

The SJ box is not bad if torqued evenly and sealed properly with plenty of grease and a new gasket. I replace the screws with course thread hex head bolts. Reuse an old gasket and stripped screws there will be problems.

Cant speak for the new XS box but the previous version fits with a slight modification to the outlet side. I had to shorten the riser so it didn't hit the top of the hull. Fits great but loud even without front exhaust. The OEM box fits too but not very well in my opinion. The ATP box might be another option.

Love seeing UPS carry boxes from John Dady! Blowsion heavy duty steering setup showed up today. I'm currently running this setup on my RN and its NICE!

Also I got totally busted by Chris (Jetmanic) for using a USED parts on the ski! The plastic steering cable nut and seal....lol. Forgot to order from the dealer and Chris is much faster.

XS motor is being assembled by Thrust this week, hopefully it will be here next week and the fun really begins!

One thing I really want to make sure is that this ski is no louder then a stock waterbox. Hopefully the XS box lives up to its promise! I think it will.
