Surfriding She's Alive!!!! My Rickter FR2

I rode my FR2 for the first time yesterday. I loved it. The surfed sucked, but I still have a blast.

Running my Jet Works ported 61x cylinder 62t case engine. Ported exhaust manifold and head pipe, along with a single Jetworks Black Jack 46.
Stock pump with a Hooker prop.
Bunch of cold fusion stuff.

I liked the feel of the medium Rickter plate. The pole felt a little bit long, but I'm going to ride it a good handful of times before I change anything.

Rode it for the second time yesterday. Ski is so much fun.

We also re tuned my exhaust, the engine has a lot more pep. Pulls harder than it ever has.

surf was pumping..you also missed me going over the falls on a 10footer and getting destroyed...took the rideplate to the femur..just started to be able to walk normally yesterday...2nd wave too lol..

Superjets don't need more rocker, you just need to know when to transfer your weight. Superjets don't pearl, riders pearl.

On a serious note I hope you're ok, sounds like a painful one.

haha yea it wasnt a pearl...

i did a turn on the wave right before it started breaking and then went up to do a floater and air drop off the top once the lip started to throw...
it was a big wave so when i got up on the lip i thought "hmm maybe i should take it easy i just got out" so i decided to pull off the back..i ended up getting hung up on the lip and pitched..thats what i get for hesitating..i should have just went for it...

it sucked because i could barley ride the rest of the time..the waves were really good..8-10ft..perfect barrels..i just had to ride along the wave strait the rest of the time..at least it was hollow so it was still pretty fun..

but yea it could have been allot worse..if it hit me in the knee is would have shattered for sure..or the head wouldnt have been fun..

cold fusion carl had his new gopro3 or whatever on..he didnt get that one but he got another one of me just barley punching through the back on a solid one...he said half the ski was sticking out the wave as the lip was throwing over...fun times
