shhhh - New XScream Adjustable Steering System is bada$$

I am sure they will post a new product release, but if you are in Daytona make sure you stop by their booth and check it out.

I just installed XScream's new adjustable steering system on my stock pole.

This thing is wicked solid and smooth as buttah..... did I mention it is adjustable (approximately -3.5" to -1.5")?
Plus the turning ball has infinite adjust ability!

not that one adjusts their handlebar often but from looking at it it seems if the bars are readjusted then the cable ball must be relocated as well?

yes.. but it would only take seconds. Patrick was telling me how this will work on other steering cables too.

It took me longer to take my old UMI off than to install and adjust the system (including install of a new finger throttle and grips.)

Great idea, but like the umi shortened turnplates, it seems that a weak point is introduced by cutting out the X in the middle. I would like to see one in person though as I may very well be wrong.

That's a prettysweet setup it would make using a X-Metal pole on an SXR way easier.

If you adjust the bars forward or back you need to be able to adjust the pivot. Granted, you wont adjust your bars much (only takes seconds) but it is there if you do.

Like the waterdawg, You are stuck with the baby smooth tension as it comes. No adjustment.

it is a bearing system and they are included. yes it adjuests similiar to umi or rrp.
