Guess I'm the only one who prefers none on my superjet, my girlfriends ski has them. I don't ride bouys though.
They are great except for Flat Water Freestyle. You will like them.
IMO, For racing and carving, sure why not. For all out flat water freestyle on a RN hull, no way!
So let me ask you guys this? Probably gonna go with prowatercraft because honestly 400 for the destroyers seems kinda ridiculous. How do you decide on location?

About as far fwd as they will go, slight step off the bottom hull, and in general kind of a low in the front high in the back tilt. That's roughly what Chris H mentioned years ago when he did a group buy offer on them which was really cool.
Another way would be to try to position the main body line/contour of the sponson to match the lower contour of the hull and adjust from there.
I can take a measurement from the back of the hull if you want I think it's about 28-30" from the rear corner of the sponson to the transom.
