Super Jet Should I put tubbies on my Superjet?

Yes, my balls tickled from that landing

Hit up Nickie, she has Darshs old RN with blowsion destroyers. Alsways nice to try them out yourself definitely a personal preference for flat water. Preaty sure most if not all surf guys love them

I have pro watercraft sponsons on my RN- they are perfect. Easy install, super durable- priced right. I’ve tried to make my superjet the best of both worlds of FW freestyle and buoys. These sponsons are all around good, no chinewalk on mine either

So let me ask you guys this? Probably gonna go with prowatercraft because honestly 400 for the destroyers seems kinda ridiculous. How do you decide on location?

About as far fwd as they will go, slight step off the bottom hull, and in general kind of a low in the front high in the back tilt. That's roughly what Chris H mentioned years ago when he did a group buy offer on them which was really cool.

Another way would be to try to position the main body line/contour of the sponson to match the lower contour of the hull and adjust from there.

I can take a measurement from the back of the hull if you want I think it's about 28-30" from the rear corner of the sponson to the transom.

I’d appreciate any help!

I can’t be of much help, I have a rockered nose. I had to just guess where I wanted them. I do remember that a slight step helps to reduce chime walk. They do have instructions telling how far to measure from the rear

They seem to fit the 08+ shape a little better. Definitely take your time with fitment, it's not a quick install you need to take your exhaust chamber out (assuming b pipe). Drill the mounting holes on the small side so you don't wallow out the holes too much during fitment. Prep everything really good with sandpaper and clean everything. I used 3m 4000 as the bonding agent it's considered a medium strength marine sealant, maybe a tad better than the usual silicone. That last install with the sealant on there is tricky and very messy so have some mineral spirits etc on hand for clean up. Once it's cured on there grind your screws down so they are roughly flush with the inner hull
