Hey, your engine is ported. Who did it and what advantage does this mod show. Anyone else can jump in and explain porting benefits. I have a Pro and was thinking about doing this for more bottom end?

porting will improve airflow going in and exiting the engine... depending on what you want the engine to do will depend on the type of porting.. it can get very complicated with port timing (raising or lowering the ports) that will change the rpm level that the engine will make power.. widening the ports dont typically do this but they will improve airflow over the entire powerband.. also it will clean up the ports from any casting flaws and make both ports flow the same to make the engine more efficient..unless you know what youre doing, its best left to a professional to decide what to do to your engine based on what you want it to do..

so i have seen them b4 and i know what they are for but what are they called?.......what are those things called that go on the bars for kiss of death flips(on dirtbike) and other flip tricks on a ski...the folding things that keep you from going too far over the bars.....also can you buy then or do u have to make them
