SX/SXi/SXi Pro sj pump to sx hull

D-Roc

I forgot!
I would probably just shorten the back of the 550 to make the pump set back. I believe the water into the prop benefits having the shortest distance, not a longer distance. That's just my opinion.
Great work on the ski. Having a big pump is what every Kawasaki needs, and you did it. Very cool.

im out again this weekend, should give me a better idea of what this thing is like, first outing was only a short shakedown session, it was bloody freezing !!!

well its been a while so i thought i would share the latest mods to the ski. the biggest one is the titan pole, this is BY FAR the best mod to the ski, it has transformed the way it rides, increases your confidence no end knowing its not gonna snap at the first nose stab attempt, awesome just awesome. add this to a loki customs full port job and hey, worlds your oyster ! pick up on the motor now rivals an sj easily, the lad john is world class at this sort of thing and his past record proves this. still got a few plans in the pipe line so stay tuned !!

Such a sick kawi . Do you think it's a back flip capable ski after all the mods ?just wondering because I want to do my kawi similar to this ?
yes its deffo a back flip hull, surf only tho, I will be modding the intake area in the next few weeks, at the moment it comes out the water waaaayyyyyyyto early, and thanks for the kind comments

as the boys I ski with are all off the water for various reasons, thought I would do some long standing mods, , the ski was getting a little heavy at the back end, and after drilling a hole to see if any water was in the tray, i was a little surprised to find over a gallon come flooding out !! so tray out, then removed about 25 lbs of crap from the tray area alone !! then a little think on what else to do, set the pump back 3", so out with the grinder and pump tunnel drops out. then its a good clean up and remove all the glue and sealant from inside the tray, so much of it, no wonder these things way a ton !! its all lined up and glassed in plus re enforcing the tray side ready for the rickter ninja type footholds im making, still a bit to do, will add pics as I go
