Works pretty well for a stock or limited setup. If you are comparing it to a stock prop then yes it will make a world of difference, if you are comparing it to to a higher end prop with a better design (skat swirl or solas concord) its not optimal but definitly works well.

If you can get it...go for the C-75 swirl 10/18 or 9/17. Swirls are excellent for hook up and are very snappy with power.

Always just this close
freestyle, bottom end. it's what i use and blowsion recommended it to me with a stubby pump cone and bored out nozzle to 82mm. works gooood!!!

The Skat 10-18 is best for top speed. It will not be the most responsive at low speeds.

So, I guess I need someone to second one of these guys?
Anyone know whos right?

P.S. The reason I ask about the Impeller, I bought a ski some time ago and the guy had a frozen bearing in the pump. Thinking it was stock, I just used an pump from here someone was selling cheap.
I finally took the old pump apart tonight and found a Skat Trak 10-18 marking on it.

as far as i know, it is a bottom end prop. and here is a quote from blowsion when i asked them about how i should setup my pump for freestyle(this is for a kawi but the prop will prolly do the same.)
" I would bore your nozzle to 82mm put a Skat Trak 10/18 C75 impeller in"
thats a direct quote from my email

I used a skat trak straight blade 10/18 in my stock '06 superjet and it worked well.
I believe SXI4Evr is speakin in regards to his 750 which really is unrelated to what you are asking. Without you giving us any information about your ski it is very hard to tell you what prop you should run or how well that prop will work.

Those old 10-18s had the same load as stock B1 and 94-95 SJ props (too much for freestyle), they were popular for racing when 701s were new. Your performance will be the same as a stock 94-95 superjet.

I am pretty sure it will work much better than a stock SJ prop being that a stock impellers are aluminum and nearly always cavitate...maybe not any better than a stock B1 prop but its better than what he has in there now and is a relatively easy swap so why not?
Like I said before I DID run an old 10/18 in my '06 for a season when it was stock and it was MUCH better than the stock prop.

I bought a 1990 Superjet that the previous owner put a 62t/61x 701 in and a Factory Pipe with a Limited Chamber and a Factory Pipe waterbox and a Skat 10/18 standard blade impeller and it pulls very hard down low. I never rode it with the factory impeller or anything others, but it's a snappy machine. Everyone that rides it really likes it and it's quite a fun machine. It seems like the Skat 10/18 is a good prop for bottom to mid range power. I'm considering putting in a Hooker 9/16 or 10/16 that I have on the shelf to replace it, but as I mentioned previously, it seems like the Skat works really well.

Anything is better than stock. Do it.
Thanks. It liked the Skat 10/18 that was in there, but I hear the Hooker is an even better option, especially with the swirled edges on the prop. I'll give it a try and see how it does when it warms up and we get our machines back in the water.

Thread from the grave, nice. I have an old 10/18 skat on the shelf. Its not a bad prop but the modern big hub swirl props are way better and worth the money.

Ask builders about setting you up with a modern prop with a bored nozzle, its a fine upgrade for a superjet

Thread from the grave indeed. After I pulled this prop out of my SN Superjet I wanted to see what others on here thought about it. I have a 9/15 Hooker that I'm thinking about putting in there instead. When I get the ski in the water (probably not until June), I'll let you guys how the 10/18 Skat compares to the 9/15 Hooker. I must say though, I was pretty impressed with the performance of the 10/18 Skat, but I never had any other prop in there to compare it to.

I had a Skat 10/18 std. hub in my old Kawi 650, it made a very impressive improvement. I think for those of us that graduated up progressively seeing performance improvements over time the impact value of new hardware is not so impressive. It makes the reviews harder to give with the same shock n' awe value we had from our first real upgrade. I still think back to how noticeable the Skat 10/18 was on my Kawi 650 SX vs. stock but how not so noticeable the Hooker was when comparing to the stock on my RN. It was definitely an improvement over the aluminum lump Yamaha used but because I had already experienced one big improvement on the other ski I was expecting that x 2 on the stronger SuperJet. We get spoiled and then expectations start getting a little high lol.
