yeah... tem, I'm happy with it. forgot to put the inserts for the pump in but i'm gonna line it up then drill and rout out a section to put inserts in or just glass in some SS plates.

Pump inserts go in after bonding, you're doing it right. No need for SS plates, just some big fatty M10 stainless t-nuts, then cover them in glass or carbon.

Can't wait to try this ski, it's going to be a killer surf boat. It's a bomber layup and the bonding came out solid! Nick might not know what to do with such a nice ski

Like BrightE said ,"T" nuts from the top of the tray , put pump shoe in and pump seal ring , slam the pump against the pump ring with a ratchet strap , drill the pump holes with a 1/2" bit and sink in 3/8" T nuts from the top then glass over them , Bam done .

Nick , when you do your pump alignment make sure your shaft comes in high enough to to give you clearance so your cases don't hit the bottom of the hull. Most are measuring about 6.5 mm form case to the bottom . If you come in low you'll have to get octain mounts plus mill the case and flywheel cover....... Ask me how I know. I came in at 3.5 mm .

I my case , I should have placed the shaft higher thru the bulkhead forgetting about centering in the hole. Additionally, you might have to take a little off the top of your mid shaft housing to place it higher as it may hit the top deck where it protrudes into the hull.

Your playing a game of mm on this set up .... take your time. They are all a little different.

Looks awesome Nick! Glad to see this hull come together! Looks like you needed a few more clamps:)
What about if you have less clamps you compensate with flat bars of metal to disperse the pressure laterally ? Wouldn't that also prevent the slight high n low areas that can be seen once it's painted ? ( clamp pressure areas).
