Smith Lake Roll Call

Do you all need any help with anything or can I bring anything for this weekend? Whats the plan for food? Should we bring cash or gas for the wakeboard boats?

I'll be there Sunday along with Suzi, a friend from England and the pooch. My leg is still badly bruised and painful from a major wipeout a couple of weeks ago, but what the h#ll? I may have fractured my femur, but I'm sure it'll be OK with a little Tylenol and vet wrap

I'm bringing the l'il Weber Q grill so if you want some dogs you can just throw 'em on and go.

The SXR, the SuperJet slides around all willy-nilly in the turns.

So I'm not the only one that sucks on a bouy course when riding a superjet. Stock intake grate and ride plate probably doesn't help either.

I always ride my blaster when I bring out the bouys. I don't know how fast ya'lls SXR's are, but I might be able to hang on my blaster. It's a stock blaster with a b-pipe and a few other goodies on it. We'll see. Maybe you all can show me a few things.

I'm bringing all nine that I have, five orange, four yellow.

I've got 5 red and 5 yellow, but they only have 10ft of rope on them cuz I had them set up for the intercoastal back in Florida where its rare to ride in more than 5-6ft.

You don't stand a chance. :fingersx:

I'll let you use the SX-R and I'll race the SuperJet.

. . . and you still won't have a chance. :woot:
Ok I see how it is. In that case I'll just stop being modest then.

Make it a tight enough course with very short straightaways and I'll beat you you on my blaster and you on your SXR:biggrin:

Is your SXR a stock class boat?

Hey FLY-feel free to hop on my SXR and use it-I'll be sure the stk ride plate is in the trailer for you to use-the plate thats usually on it is -3.5"-probaly sux for bouys. Good running limited SXR w/a ton of bottom/mid range. U won't be able to miss my ski-USA flag graphics.

Thats cool. I'd appreciate it. I've only ridden an SXR once, but I'll give it a whirl just maybe not on the bouys.

It's like clubbing baby seals-WAY TOO EASY. The SXR rides itself-you just hang on and keep the brap actuator in the fully squeezed position.

I rode x-2's and hx's for years-never had the chance to ride a blaster-should be fun-and feel free to run bouys on my sxr.

"It's nothing but a Flesh Wound" - Black Knight   I'm sorry you're injured. If Suzi's friend wants to ride you are more than welcome to pimp my Square. Too I have spare wetsuits

FLY - I'm going to try turning bouys with my SJ so you won't be the Lone Ranger. PS. I have two aftermarket intake grates (nothing special, just maybe better than stock), and JD Plate if you want to give them a try. I will have my Squarenose with me too. I never sent you pictures cause I figured you changed your mind. No worries I like my little heard of skis:biggrin:
