Didnt switch. Just added another to the fleet. I swear the chan amazes me more and more every time i ride it. Ive never even ridden a rip yet.
Got it, I thought for some reason the Chan was for sale and this was it's replacement. Curious to hear a back to back comparison.

Nope. The chan is still together. I think im still a little sour from the people i bought it from..
Im very eager to try this new hull though. I dont think it will be as capable as the chan at medium speeds, but a little more flickable all around.

Well, this is absolutely insane. I'm trying to take my bilge fittings off of the Superjet and put in the rip and they will NOT budge... pb blaster, wd40, heat, and a freakin 3/8 impact... These damn things are STUCK.
anyone have 2 black bulge fittings to sell???

Slow progress but, bilge pumps are in, holes drilled, installed, and wired up to a handle mounted switch. Does anyone else cringe while drilling into a brand new hull?

Why in the world did you drill your fittings in the side of your hull... That's what the recess underneath the rear hood breathers is for

Oic. Glad to hear he is using gel-coat. The few I've seen just had epoxy primer.
