I miss my SC but it didn't get used as much as I thought. I think they're great fun especially for cruising. I always got a lot of looks on the lake when we took it out. An engine upgrade is a must. I would have loved to ride Laserman's from Pwc. He always had them hopped up. I thought he had one with a PJS 900 or something big like that.

I've ridden one years ago that came into the shop I was working at. I remember it came in for the notorious leaky exhaust pipe joint that all the 650 n 750's seem to have in the salt water. My coworker insisted he had to go with me to get the full effect. We had a blast for our test run. It was neat to slide the controls over to decide who was driving. The spin outs were crazy bc you didn't know if you were flipping.

Got to take her home today!!! A few flaws in the paint put for the price I paid to have it painted I'm super happy. After I finished unloading the ski into the garage I was pleasantly surprised to find a package from Jettrim waiting for me!

Nice seat. I looked on jetrim website but couldn't find anything for the sc. Was that custom and how much$$?
I need to do something soon with my thrashed seat

They don't have anything listed on their website for super chickens, however they have done a few SC seats. The pattern I had them do was one they have already produced before. My cover was ~$250 (not including taxes and shipping, etc.)

It's been a while since my last update, sorry. So after going through all the effort to paint the bilge and get it beautiful and white, the painter obviously didn't do a great job of masking. My OCD couldn't let it go, nor could I build the ski in this condition. I started sanding to repaint the bilge. I didn't want to deal with the possibility of overspray on the paint job so I figured I'd just use a roller and brush.

After sanding, still overspray everywhere:

I also needed to paint over my glass repairs (tow hook was just reinforcement):IMG_4842.JPG

The roller idea was bad, it wasted paint and the coverage was awful. It also made the garage smell terrible for s few days. So I said screw it and bought some 1mil painters plastic and figured I'd just spray and get it over with:

Spraying the bilge was the right way to go, in less than an hour it was back to how it should be:

Today I was excited enough to attempt to apply the graphics. It was a big deal because custom designed graphics weren't cheap, and if I screw them up it's gonna cost more.

Long story short, they're done. I couldn't have done it without the help of my amazing wife. She's more OCD than I am and that's why the graphics came out as good as they did. I'm reluctant to show them off without a finished ski... but they're so great I feel I'll have to. Think 2014-2015 superjet. If anybody shows interest I'll let the cat out of the bag and post pics.
