Super Jet SN Custom Build - Risen from a watery grave

Slow progress here, had an unexpected change in living arrangements. I'm set up at the new place now but have lost some valuable time.

I've moved the pole bracket Foreward and flatened the area. This winter has been ridiculously warm so I'm gonna be riding sooner than I anticipated. My goal now is to make this thing rideable in as little time possible so I may put off some plans for next winter. While I re-located I dropped the new motor into my blaster to get it tuned and it will be ready to just drop in.

More to come soon. She won't be a beauty queen but there won't be anything else like her either!

I bought a 62t 701 off criagslist today for $450. Tore it all down and it looks like a good motor. It came with a triton billet head which was cool too. Also had the electronics from a couch, so i opened up the ebox to check it out and I almost pood myself.

Nice! I dont know how to test its functionality but if its good ill be stoked and will be running it! If i can figure out how it works, that is.

It will be done by then, but I dont know if ill be able to go to the LSFR.

Those old kawasaki parts are finally gettin some use - 750sx spring balances the pole well, pretty much weightless. Mounted hardware for limiting rope and hood straps and working on cleaning out the gas tank. Assembling everything soon, minus hull fittings. Holding off on cosmetics because hydroturf is out of b stock for a while so im gonna build the inside first.

Finally got some more free time yesterday. It's mostly done, little dirty in the pictures from sanding the other ski in the garage.

Jetmaniac took my raider pump, shortened the driveshaft and rebuilt the stator for me. Also got his hood strap kit, limiting rope kit, cold fusion throttle, throttle drum, and big throttle cable. I knew the pump would come back perfect, and it did. The work done to the driveshaft is nothing short of amazing. I dont know how they do it but they do it well. Registration numbers are on the way from dk1.

Cant wait to take it out next weekend, havent ridden a stand up since october 15th! The waveblaster is fun, but its not the same.

EDIT: Using Toby's footholds I have 1" padding on the bottom and 8mm on the hold and still have plenty of room. Super cushy!

Man that pole bracket looks nice, how much did it cost to make parts and labour? you gotta make some

I might be able to make a few, but I'm gonna put a few hours on this one first. I've got some more changes to make as long as I can prove this one is sturdy as well.

Edit: Added some more pictures, didnt wanna bump the thread though since nothing has changed. The relocation of the steering cable ball allows me to run a SN steering cable on the FX-1 pole and still retain maximum throw. I can flip the plate over for even more throw, too.
