thanks everyone

not much to post pic wise, but i finished the final layup this evening so it should be good to go come tomorrow. i plan to finish the paint tomorrow, still needs a good wet sand and rubbing out. i have already started putting the bilge together. the bilge pumps are glued in and mounts in place. ill finish out the odds and ends tonight so hopefully i can put the pump and engine back in tomorrow night and get a test ride wed then pad, turf and straps are going on. As long as everything keeps going smooth it will be in Nashville this weekend!!

How'd you attach the straps? I did not see any kind of anchor thing glassed in.
The straps look waaay far forward.
Looking good though!

You missed a couple spots:popworm: Is that black or grey? Looks grey. I only have some spare black diamond turf.

yeah its grey, i think i got it now. i was real perticular about my cuts and i think i can stretch it out enough to finish. thanks a lot for the offer, if you already sent them i can get it back to you.

and yeah i left that one corner piece until last, the first one was a SOB so i was dreading it. it went easy though compared to the first side, i figured out what not to do.

the straps are just sitting there for now, im goin to ride it a little bit before i put them in just to make sure on the placement. hopefully i will do that this afternoon. all thats left is putting the engine back in and everything that goes along with that.

lookin good matt! how you healing up? back riding yet?

I dig the new ski, did a double take on it at first, good read, excellent build. Did you lower the pole bracket like kenney? or jsut leave it alone? I haven't ridden much this month, i am saving for that rn.

Are you going to Nationals? I would go but i have a warrant out in KY and stuff going on this weekend.

thanks man, my arm is getting there i can go ride for a little while i just cant be as aggressive as im used to. shouldnt be to much longer till im 100%

i didnt have the funds for a lowered rn brkt this go around so im still using the sn i just modified it to take the ac pole.

i will be at nationals this weekend and plan to give the new ski some ride time down there.
so i take it you still have those thing to clear up in KY?? lol

here are a few pics from today. i got it put back together and went and rode about 3/4 of a tank through it today. What a great feeling to be back on my ski again after 2 months, not to mention this flat deck is a blast!!!! the whole ski feels a lot lighter now with dry foam and loosing a little weight from the tray. the leverage you have with your feet now is un real, i figured it would hurt turning and carving, but it was the opposite. it handles so much better and allows a lot more control of the back of the ski. I will have straps for tomorrows ride so should be a lot more control then. im digging it so far, cant wait to go ride again :fing02:

Looks good. You made a lot of progress since yesterday. I didn't send the turf after I saw that you were using gray.
