Long overdue bump!
I am changing a bunch of things on my rip this winter. New pump, adding intake grate and inserts for it, new tank, new ignition, decals, and a completely revamped engine bay. Painted motor, colored lines, new extinguisher placement, and just everything more organized.
I may be changing my turf just for another color too.

My winter plans are trying to do a flawless paintjob myself (im a noob haha) and install graphics without messing up lol

Not too hard to get flawless. Make sure your prep work is top notch, your work area is spotless and you have some trigger practice on your gun first. My biggest mistake was not having some trigger time on a test panel. An 1/8 turn adjustment on my gun was the difference between a nasty run and a flawless paint job. Guess what I ended up with?

Lol. I think I can guess. That's a bummer. I just repainted a 750sx with a harbor freight gun and auto zone paint and turned out really good except for 2 paint bubbles and some debris on the nose from a blue tarp. Besides that I was very happy. And I know the prep work makes wonders. The hood I spent a ton of time on compared to other parts and it looks solid! Main thing is debating on colors right now and also when I'm going to tear her down
