someday I will get the kahunas to open my own shop. I started a post a long time ago about putting all the good people in the industry under one roof w/a very good general manager! I still feel their is a lot of talent in our sport, it just needs a little help w/direction, advertising, and commitment. Look at Roo's neg feedback w/WDK, had Jeff not over-promised and under delivered, all would have been good. If someone were over Jeff making the 'promises' and making sure they come thru, Jeff would be the man. Instead, we have people that can't stand him. What a shame!!!

Jeff and I spoke for quite some time last week, and while there are some business related issues that needs to be worked out, he does want to make things right and we have come to an agreement. I will be posting a follow up to this saga hopefully soon with good feedback.

None the less though, it is unfortunate to hear any story about big players in the industry not taking care of people adequetly (sp?).

My point exactly. If the major players treated each customer the way they wanted to be treated, it would be a whole new ball game. I really don't think for 1 minute that these guys set back and say, 'hey-lets screw this guy', chit just happens and they don't communicate w/the customer at hand. I know 1st hand the major players will take hundreds of BS phone calls before a money spending customer calls, and w/the guy spending money is front and center, he/she needs to stay frt and center until promises are made good. ie-product qaulity, performance, shipping schedules.

Yep - you called that one!

Communication was my biggest issue but hopefully we have worked through that. On or before June 16, we'll know for sure!

What's bad to is all the custom parts needing attention, and not everything can be done in house so a lot of these out sourced guys are reasons for snag ups and date push backs. In some situations though, I hear both sides and don't really know where to follow so I just try to stay neutral...

Jeff is a very innovative guy and makes some very affordable products, his only problem is his time promises SUCK !!! Are his Diablo hoods the best in the industry? No-are they good hood kits for the money-Yes. I ordered 2 more hood kits a couple of weeks ago and I expect them around Christmas. LOL
If they show up sooner, I will be amazed. Key thing is-I knew what to expect w/I ordered them.-'they are on the shelf and ready to ship' really means-hey, you will have them this year. LOL

Scorn had nothing to do with it. I just hope 24/7 superjet gets his stuff before the sale and is able to get questions answered afterward. It is always sad to see a company go under.
