One of the employees at the booth said they will be available sometime next spring, price is TBD.
The design (and weight) is very similar to their 144 stator and wear rings. They will be making a line of 148mm impellers that should be available around the same time next spring as well.

H20 designs has the same thing already out, one piece stator wear ring design all in stainless.

The one piece H20 pump that was on display down here was quite a bit lighter than the 148 Solas stator and wear ring.

But how much do they differ in retail price? I could turn a cold shoulder to that extra pound or two if H2O's pump stays less than the Solas. Did they say anything about expected sale price?

The H20 Designs Torrent pump is 849.99 and that includes the tail cone, you can also get the Torrent pump in a setback version as well as the standard version.

The only thing the Solas reps would say about the pricing on the 148mm is that it will be more than the 144mm. The 160mm pumps they've been casting for Riva are priced at just under $1000.00 for just the stator section, so the price could fall anywhere between their 144mm and 160mm.
so you would still need a 148 wear ring as well with an impellor? Did they say if bearing were going to be included?
