oh wow didnt relize you were manufacturing the whole engine! sorry for the confusion :notworthy:

currently our engineer is doing the programing which always leads to tolorence issuses because what works in a computer model doesent always work in real life. if your doing the whole process of designing, programing, machining and assembly its more obvious to see what will work and what wont. what cad program are you using?

Killer idea. Think this could be used for timing? putting some timing marks on the flywheel and a mark on the cover?? That will be fine in the H20. We do something like that on our electric motors and they are exposed to high pressure water blasting, etc

I imagine it could, as long as you are able to adjust the timing externally.

Are you going to be coming here to the Midwest for IMTS 2012 (International Machine Tool Show) at McCormick Place in Chicago (September 10-15 2012) to check out all the latest machines, tooling, and technology available? I love going to that, there's so much stuff in one massive location, it's like manufacturing porn overload!
