Is there anything specific on if there are classes or what constitutes a build off boat yet? Once we get the date of the event and location set in stone then I guess we can talk specifics on this aspect.

got my motor all lined up and set back 2 5/8 inches, this is where she is gonna go...not bolting her down yet cause there is still some work to be done on the motor (some poweder coating and painting) and i gotta move the battery box. had to bolt the electrical box right to the bulkhead. this may be my last pic before the buildoff. the first pic is how it used to be....you can see in the third pic where the old mounts used to be

you can move the engine to the ride tray.... its still going to be a pig.... just with its gut closer to its a$$whole.
youve obviously never ridden a SJ if you think your sxr handles better than a SJ for freestyle.

i rode a stock superjet, thats what i would call a pig..... never got an oppurtunity to ride a good one,would love to actually. if the superjet is so good why is malones ski and alot of other aftermarket hulls based on the sxr platform? and your right it still will be a pig in the old weight department:frown:
Edit: we need some more trash talkers in here, SFL's comments are great, but i am sick of going back and forth with him, and besides his comments but they are getting old and worn out....

According to Wamilton, this makes the ski feel WAYYYYYY lighter and makes the front end pop out of the water. I am stoked to test ride that baby!! We can do some back to back comparisons with mine.

If I'm on flatwater I ripping bouys not riding on the dam hood
Kawi boats have improved alot since 96. How many stupid screws does that electrical box have? like 2 hundy?
I am still waiting to ride a damn SXR. I want to. Just never had an opportunity.
