I know I enjoy carving on my SJ tremendously. I'd love to take an SXR for a spin sometime.
I might get to take you up on that offer sometime in the future.
Thanks DJ!

got my motor all lined up and set back 2 5/8 inches, this is where she is gonna go...not bolting her down yet cause there is still some work to be done on the motor (some poweder coating and painting) and i gotta move the battery box. had to bolt the electrical box right to the bulkhead. this may be my last pic before the buildoff. the first pic is how it used to be....you can see in the third pic where the old mounts used to be

Looking good

To make the pig feel lighter kinda like buying a yamaha but with a ton more labor I guess it's for thoes people that have allergic reactions to blue.

i would rather paddle an innertube then ride blue haha:biggrin: , but i cant ride a superjet because the shop i race MX for is a kawi dealer so they wouldn't like it at all....

I think KX454 may be a vulcan,he bleeds green.

you hit the nail on the head with that one

I always thought of them as a Volkswagen with foot holds:biggrin:

dont jokes that invovle volkswagens usually refer to something small?? it would be more of a comparison to call it a school bus with footholds haha.

To make those weak feeble superjets strong like an SXR you have to gut them and re-enforce the hulls and then refoam them. If those crazy superjet riders could get over their allergic reactions to green they wouldn't have to do all that work to make their superjets strong like SXR's  I just don't really want to break my hull in half. I'd give me 2 weeks on a stock SJ hull before I destroy it.

I am still waiting to ride a damn SXR. I want to. Just never had an opportunity.

They are pretty sweet. If you were to lighten them up and dump allot of power in there it would be the s*&^!!! Maybe evn make them a little shorter. It is to ponited for my liking. That is really why I liked Malone's hull. Got rid od that really narrow pointed nose by doing the modified octane topdeck but retains the SXR hull bite. I personally like doing sharp turns in to wakes and really carving w/o fighting with the boat to stay hooked up. The SJ is great for freestyle and freeride but it all depends on your style. A lightweight SXR and excess power (160-175hp) would be nice though.
