Mocked up a few things today
The SXR wetpipe actually fits really nicely in there along with my 2 gallon tank. The way I want to install it will allow me to remove the fuel cell without removing the motor and pipe!
Threw in a battery just to see how it would fit
A little teaser for Wednesday's job of putting in that sexy Blowsion pole. I have a feeling this will be a big PITA!
Other updates:
- My Jet Dynamics intake grate I sent back in due to the front and back mounts being off from each other. John Zigler at Watcon/RCJS called up Jet Dynamics and they looked at a few more from the lot and they are all bad! Something with the mold is bad....so I'm getting a Worx WR222 grate.
- My mag pump seems to have some play in it. I wasn't sure if the prop was tight and it has a huge allen on teh back to keep the shaft from rotating. So when I'm at work tomorrow and I'm going to pull the impeller out and try to figure out why there is play in it. I really hope I don't have to sit around to figure out what is wrong with this pump. I'm still hoping the impeller just isn't seated tight on the shaft.
- This weekend I'm going to see if i can con a few buddies into helping me turf this bad boy since I have never done any turfing except for on a X2 with the 3M adhesive pre-cut kit.
- Going to work on making my fuel tank bracket and Ebox mount this week.
- I'm trying to avoid buying and expensive water box and have one all bent up just need to weld it up.
