Pole is on...those tubes are a pain in the a$$. I also mocked up my intake grate and got some stainless hardware for it. I also made a rubber stopper for my pole rather than using foam.

Pole looks ba, but looks about 12" to long (atleast in those angles). Mine is 32" from pole bolt to bars and your much taller than me.

I am...the pole stopper is just for the up position when the limiting strap is off for hood removal.

I'm rather confident it could withstand a full impact but it wasn't the point of the design. I have a FreeRide Innovations one on the way. Rob has a black strap he may trade you.
