So far he is very pleased with the spark. I've convinced him to hang onto the X2 for now.

He had a local company flash it to 100hp. It's about 1mph faster than my superjet at WOT.

He took the spark out with the XL760. The spark burned $12 in fuel whereas the XL760 burned $30 in fuel in the same run and is a faster than the XL760.

We took the spark out into the surf. He was concerned about the steering and the hull and was worried about jumping it. I'm sure he'll get over it and enjoy it. It was nice to have a storage compartment to bring some stuff with us. I also had to use reserve for the ride back so him being able to transport fuel to the beach for me would make the day last longer too.

We have a running joke with the guy in our group, we say his Spark makes fuel not consumes it lol. Every time we get out there he comes back and says "yeah, I think she drank a bit more today, I had to put 9 liters in...oh wait, I didn't fill up from the last ride" lol. They are certainly awesome on fuel and appear to be very stable too. I was on a Blaster for the last month or so, re-boarding is just not fun on those things. I think I used more energy getting back on it from four or five spills, then I did the entire 3 hours of ride time lol.
