Is there any benefit to using multiple ground plugs vs standard? Most people are saying it doesn't matter then I was wondering why they make them.
What's his compression and is he running tl? Total loss had more spark energy so in theory it can jump a larger gap correct?Brandon boat I run BR9eya
At .016 gap
What about liquid cooler sled motors? Can think of a number of liquids that call for the br8es off the top of my mind...I'm wondering why Yamaha and Kawasaki chose to use a spark plug designed for air cooled motors ?
my hunch based on 100% nothing is they started with them in the 80's they worked. If its not broke, why change it.I'm wondering why Yamaha and Kawasaki chose to use a spark plug designed for air cooled motors ?

I know at least 1 guy...Because engineers need jobs too......
I held a br8es and a br9eya side be each at Napa last night and the eya's are longer by about a 1/16 of an inch, not the threads, the actual tip. I did not buy them because I'm afraid of piston clearance.I have found a couple references now that say the BR9EYA is an updated version of the ES and was designed to offer reduced fouling. They are interchangeable in every other way.
