speed plate help

Not sure what speed plate this is but it does not have cuts for orings on the bottom. Kinda annoying because I have to use carb gaskets and cut the bolt hole tabs to fit.

Engine is 66E 927. The manifolds are wdk twin. Carbs are full spec 49s.

Wondering if anyone had one already cut for 49s they'd part with? Or if a machinist could cut recesses for orings?

If you can't find a speedplate cut for orings: what kind of gasket material are you using? Depending on the material you can grease the gasket and reuse it.

I'm using green gaskets from Troy but the bolt holes domt mach up so I had to cut the tabs and they are a HUGE pain to line up.

It looks like an oem Yamaha SBN44 carb plate to me. They don't use o-rings, only gaskets. As far as I know it's not meant to be a true speedplate as much as it's just meant to keep the carbs together when removing unlike the dual 38's on a stock SuperJet. I suppose it would give the intake tract a little more length but as far as I have experienced, it's mainly for easier management of the carbs during removal, installation and keeping the throttle linkage aligned.

Yep I did that mod on a few 760'S , pull the studs out and replaced then with Allen head screws then you could remove them with a ball head Allen socket .

I see that it is just a carb plate. I can't seem to find anyone with a 66e using an actual speed plate. Wonder if I can use the gp800 plate to manifold gasket and use a 49mm hole punch and make my life a little easier? Worth a shot!
