I'm also against the bilge pump unless for some reason your ski tends to just get water in it. I have two SXR's, both stay dry. Best mod I have done was intstall Destroyers, haven't noticed the above mentioned chine walk, but if it does, just go a tad faster and it will disappear. Great luck with the Skat stainless intake grate, just make sure not to use the aluminum, they get trashed and are the same price. On one ski I installed a -2 handpole and straight bars as well as the tbm rear sponsons with stockplate, also both skis have oem impellers. Makes for a fun day. As for spending money on pipes and flywheels, yes they make a difference. But here is a thought, what differnce does a couple mph more make if your just out rec riding or riding by yourself? I have spent thousands in the past 20 years on mods, they never really made me a better rider, sometimes made me a tad slower, they did drain my wallet and didn't make me have any more fun. Final push, my stock machines have beat alot of limited skis at both regional and National events, my theory is take what you have and learn to ride it, a smooth powerband helps alot here. If your into freestyle...sell what you have and get a freestyle boat as well as throw most of what I just said out the window!
Best of luck!
