B Pipe, i think there may have been a misunderstanding in the setup. Did you ever run a 46 sbn with CPT porting?

I think he quoted you for dual carbs. I have run a CPT ported 61x 754 and a 61x 701 with a single 46sbn.

701 with coffman rocket pipe (blaster)
170M 130P 14psi pop off

754 with coffman sizzler (similar to b-pipe)
155M 130P 22psi pop off Edit: I started at 145/125 and worked my way up until I lost power then worked my way back down.

Well i switched things up. 140M 125p gold 115g spring 2.0 N/S. 32psi popoff. Top is 3 turns out bottom is 1.75 out, so i will go up a jet on the main, and them ill play with the low. Hesitation is almost completely gone, i only feel it if idling for over 1min then snap it, so a little fine work will get it perfect. I gutted my spare 44's for parts, till i get around to ordering a jet kit.

Who sells jet kits btw? couldnt find one online.

Thejetskistore out of Florida has the best deal on jets I have found. I bought 10 @ 1.65 each shipped. You can also find that place on ebay. I was not able to find a "kit" either.

I've started dreaming of riding again soon at work lately, so it's time to revive this thread. I would love any comments and thoughts. I dont always think of everything, and love seeing what others have to say!

Last year I rode three times. Once on lake huron with some great new friends and a few older buddies, and twice at friends on a local inland lake. Sad, I know. I used to ride 3+ times per week... This leads into another re-fresh for the superjet. On the ride at lake huron, some decent rocks made their way into my shiny prop, thats no longer so shiny. I will need a new one, thinking a 9/15 would be a good fit for the 701 and solas pump. It needs a battery, ive been milking it on a old gel cell, and would like another sealed battery. The S/S switch also is acting up and the kill isnt working. I have a couch spare i need to replace it with. The pipe needs a polish again, the bilge is greasy once again, and i need to turf under the waterbox and tank. Does anyone have some scrap turf they don't need? I may pull down the motor and check everything out prior to starting the season, just to make sure it wasn't sitting with moisture in it over our humid summer.

On a side note, I need to buy/build a hitch hauler and beach cart. We moved recently and I bought a house, sadly with no garage, and no trailer storage. I'll need a beach cart to get it from my shop to the truck and a hitch hauler should work well for easy launch/recovery.

And since a thread is crap without pics, heres what I have from facebook.

New place clean up. It was on the market for a while, and was left to over-grow. The chimney was taken down, along with the radio tower. Full second floor bathroom reno as well that is ongoing.

I have re-arranged things, but this was just getting everything in. Those awful curtains are gone, replaced with that fog spray for windows. Will need a lower height shop stand. Maybe a scissor lifting one to make working easier in the future.

Last time I had the ski out, with a friend.

And probably part of the reason I didn't ride much, I bought a boat. Sold it shortly after though, it ran like crap and I don't have time to deal with another project, house renovations have been enough.

Toy funds are low, some large life expenses are coming soon, so the goal is fix whats broke, ride the piss out of it, love life lol. We'll see how that works out!
