Wire brush on a drill

Yes definitely! It will save you hours of work! When I first ripped into my tray I was using screwdrivers and a big spoon then my buddy came over, laughed at me, and then showed me how much easier it was with the drill method lol

how did the glass come out?
The nose was tough around the pole bracket area so I had to grind some of it away and redo last night with some material that contoured more easily. I haven't glassed the tray yet. It took me too long to cut the mat how I wanted it last night. I'll post nose pics tonight

thanks for the kind words everyone! yeah i'm itching to ride it at this point. got my hood liner done last night, have to put it in today. the duct tape couldn't have worked any better as a mold release! popped right out like nothing!2012-06-23_12-44-55_515.jpg

Hood liner is epoxied into place, just need to run a strip of fiberglass around it. Gonna be reinforcing the engine bay area on wed and thurs then I can do the bodywork and paint prep this weekend. The end is in sight finally! Hopefully my motor will be here soon...

nice, keep it going. I'm still working on reinforcing my cut back, then going to reinforce bond line in tray. then refoam and get the tray back in.

still want to rinforce the foot holds from the back side, as well as run a tube for a trim line in case i get there in the future.
