Super Jet squarenose- lowered hood, nose job, widened tray, 701 swap

I bought a 1995 701 late last year, and found a crack in the foot tray, at the same time I could tell that the ass end of the ski would feel heavy after riding and i could hear water sloshing around if i rocked it side to side.

I glassed the floor and replaced the matt, seemed like all the water was out, but now concerned that i should have cut out the floor completely and removed the old foam, I drilled two 1/4" holes at the rear of the hull and no water came out, I plugged with removable screws.

any Ideas, like drilling small hols and filling with great stuff, I think water may transfers from the buldge to the foot tray.

I have no idea what you are doing with that hood? fill me in please looks like a hell of a project.

Also shopping for a pipe.

im lowering the hood, replacing the hood liner, and just changing the lines up a little bit to make mine different than every other square nose out there.
very curious on how the hood turns out.
have a little faith!

got a chance to work on some sanding today... it is actually starting to take the shape i want. it's only a rough shape right now and still a long ways to go, but i'm satisfied with my progress so far.

Looking good Nick
Especially with the body lines matching the hood
Looking forward to see how the nose comes out
I'm picking up some foam tomorrow for my SN project
?? Does epoxy stick to the top deck material
I know is not SMC

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. As for epoxy, I believe it does stick if you scuff the surface well. I'm hoping to lay some glass over the fill hole this week so I can foam the nose this weekend. I finished the hood shaping this this past weekend so now all I have to do is glass over it!
