Surfriding Steering Cables

What about posting specs for each OEM steering cable for comparison for guys building/modifying hulls etc.?
I was thinking: Make that cable came from, model of boat cable came from, LOA, throw, diameter(s), terminal connection type (ball, helm, other).
I can post specs for FX-1, B1, LX-650 and WR3 later when I get back to the shop.
Maybe it could be the data could be compiled and posted to the Tech FAQ forum for reference.
What do you guys think?

also, OCD if you figure out where that extension came from please post up. That would be perfect for my b1 with ATP nozzle.

Rode my ski with the Blowsion cable today. Also switched from the middle steering position to the outer position on my steering plate. I had to cut the cable and the heim joint to use the outer position and still use the steering stops and it worked perfectly. This cable is amazing! Very beefy cable and a quality part. Putting my steering pivot on the outer location and having no sloppy steering ends made my steering so fast I would have thought I cut 6" off my hull! It was super fun to ride and made me ride more agressively and tire myself out more quickly but I was having a lot of fun. I over rotated a few re-entries since I wasn't used to how responsive it is but it was a lot of fun! Riding with 1 hand was easier since the steering input was so rapid it made my hull ride less flat and would rip from rail to rail very quickly. I was considering tubbies just for carving on a wave face and riding with one hand but this steering mod makes me feel like its unnecessary now. I had to remove one screw from my chinpad to clearance the steering cable on the outer pivot but ill add a spacer for that. I definitely recommend this cable!

I reinstalled my ATP nozzle last weekend and finally figured out where that adapter came from. I made it by cutting up a seadoo adapter and then tapping the threads all the way thru. The seadoo threads are larger as mentioned above but they don't go all the way thru so there's plenty of meat left to tap enough smaller thread to work.
