Stereo in a Kawi SuperChicken

Get a speaker kit from shark motorcycle audio. I have their 3" speakers on my ducati and they are very loud. I dont think it draws that much current (I haven't had any issues since installing both the speakers and heated grips). I think that would be your biggest problem is if the stator can output enough current. (You can install an extra battery instead and estimate battery life with the current draw vs. the battery's mAH)

The speakers I listed below are pretty good, but they definitely aren't 100% waterproof.. Mine are slightly angled up on the handlebars and a 1/4 of the speaker cone was submerged in rain water for about 2 hours. I am pretty sure some water had got inside because the music cuts out every now and again. You could probably remedy that with some good silicone. My neighbor turned me on to this company and he always had a great time with their customer service. I am almost positive you can call them and they will sell you individual components for less than their kits.

The amplifier is built inside and they are also bluetooth.. So you could keep your phone inside one of those weatherproof bags.

Do it.

Those look like pretty much what I was thinking, unless I install some marine 6.5s into the SC. So you just have to have those speakers powered and then you just bluetooth it?

Yep 12v, bluetooth and you're done. Everything is built inside the speaker housing. I have had them on my motorcycle for over a year now and about 3000 miles city driving. No problems besides the before mentioned water submersion. I really think the company had done their homework with these because they are still audible at 80 MPH. There seems to be little focus on bass though because you wouldn't hear those low frequencies on a motorcycle anyway.

Your post has me thinking of a super chicken with some speakers too. I'd turn that thing into a audio powerhouse.

This is what you're looking for. This has the bluetooth. The company sells on eBay also.. I picked mine up for $115

Put a luggage rack on the back deck to strap a cooler to for some adult beverages. Or better yet a mini-kegerator.

Motoberens put a blue tooth setup in his. Speakers mounted on the tower. Pretty slick setup. I am in the process of a full restore and pimping out my chicken for my son. Have tons of crazy ideas for it.
