while junkyardj was over we did a test fit of the tank and battery tray
looks like im going with a 550 gas tank (thanks my man)

making some progress...
rrp lowered pole bracket fitted with maniac strap
water box and exhaust tube fitted
still waiting on some parts so i can fit the pump and check motor alignment
once thats done.. pretty much be bolting the motor in and anding fuel/water lines
thinking of adding a smal strip of turf around the nose section as there is no bumper and i have already knocked it just by moving it around my garage

bolted the straps under the pole bracket, only thing i dont like is two straps running into one rachet, seems a little tight to me...
lucas we still got ice covering our lakes... id love to hear this motor fire up... but still waiting on my flywheel.....

Nice bling steve...I have a few things left to get but I'm ski broke. The last of the loot went to greater yamaha for the small fortune in straps, fittings and just about every nut washer and bolt in a superjet.

have been working on my ski a little, the front foot hold is turfed and installed, attached the primer and bilge switch.
just mounted the mid shaft, i cant do the pump yet as i have discovered the bushes i got with thrust trim are incorrect so brian is sending me some new ones out
Pole is on and tight, just fed the start stop cable and throttle cable through and figured out how im doing the rachet, its all coming together
hopefully ill get a chance maybe tomorrow to look at the engine alignment, looked good when i dropped it in before didnt seem to need shims, vertical alignment is spot on, its a little off left/right which i may be able to pull back on the bolt holes... im guessing the dampner takes some of that up too <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

starting to steam ahead now
have the starter, bendix and tbm flywheel bolted in
also fitted my Pancake Pete Front Foot hold
Motor is in and bolted down as is the electrical box
just need to finish up the pump, and bolt in the gas tank and im pretty much done
running the 550 tank so i need to make a plate to relocate the battery location as it wont quite fit between the tank and flywheel cover as i initially hoped
