Is that the frankenstein motor? 62t cylinders with 61x cases?

Pretty sure he is just speaking of the T cylinder, be it on an x or t case. Keep what you got, get your cylinders ported and dont make it any more work than it has to be.
Like Shonuff said, the T cylinders make nice smooth power, awesome for freeriding. The X cylinder will give you the low end snap you are looking for, especially with the 144 pump.

Sounds like my plan.. You get or getting the bonzi pump this winter like me?
I'm looking for the pipe too.

Also yamanube pm me if you want a programable total loss for the 701.

No, I am not putting any more money into the FX1. That is strictly the GF ski, she loves it, I hate it and rarely ever ride it.

That totally depends on the porting, I had a ported 790 62T, it didn't have the snap that a 61x BB had but made good power throughout, more linear.

I am very pleased with my BB X cylinders-84mm with plenty of bore potential left. YAMACAT is running T cylinders with flat-top 83mm. Even though she has total loss and a little more compression (about 5#) I still have more snap lower in the power curve. She is a little faster on top end, but it just comes down to personal preference. Both set ups are a blast to ride. The carbs, pump, and pipe on each of these skis are very similar so it makes for a pretty good comparison.

Not at the moment. When we got her new mag pump assymbled, I took her old mag out of her ski and stuck it in mine. So, my ski has more low snap than hers did with the same pump. Don't get me wrong her set up has plenty of zip, it just comes in a little later. Her pitch is 14/19, I will ask her what the pitch is on the other pump when she gets back. Her pipe is the Black "high rev" type 4, where as mine is the "Riva Freestyle" type 4, that also could be a factor.

Earlier this season I was running a 62t cased, 62t BB cylinder, 790cc, freeride ported cylinders, Jetinetics TL ignition, ADA head, B pipe, Riva single carb intake with a Riva Powerbomb 48. It made awesome smooth power with a nice flat torque curve that was smooth as butter to ride and sneaky power. Loved it.

I'm running a ported 760 (64t) motor. Stock lightened flywheel, stock head, b-pipe and a single 46.
Most powerfull motor I have ever had! Smoth and stong. Single carb is nice.

I just built an identical motor for my RN. let you know how that runs next week!!
