Did you have insurance on the ski? Seems like not many of us do. I just got a quote for 20k of insurance $299/year. I need to bump it a up a bit, but you hear a story like this and it seems well worth it. Glad this worked and she is home where she belongs!

Too late, removed all of the crap the thief put on already. It looks like he must have used a wire wheel or something to remove the graphics on the top half of the ski. It was scratched all to hell. I guess it was too much work to do it that way so he just painted over the graphics that were below the bond line. What an idiot. He got out of jail today,btw.
