this is how I have been considering doing up my new hull......
the other option is 2 straps, and full channels front to back.....like JK's camo boat

thats my plan on my new rn but they had to do a custom carbon exhaust tube for that one..ill probally just channel the backs cause i like my toe farther over in the tray..im telling you man.ditch that hold in the front,strap in and you will never want to ride anyother way..just try it..its easy enough to switch back

i dont use a front hold...
i use a right rear foothold and front strap ONLY....I stay locked in 100% of the time as well...
(my avatar is with NO straps and NO holds)

is there any reason not to make your whole tray wider? I know you widened the bottom of yours slutty. it's got me thinking.

nice!!..i fyou dont jump in the holds then why not use a strap..then you can get a little more sideways in the tray which i think helps..my strap is mounted so my toes are inside the footwell but my foot is more sideways then it would be if it was in the hold, if that makes sense

that stab was actually pretty scary....it wasnt very big but I felt all loosey goosey in the tray
i go front strap for the left....back right in the hold with my foot perpendicular to the hull
so, I stand almost completely sideways just like you said....

the one I put on ripped off in 10 minutes... I did it twice before w/ no problems... go figure..
I think I will get another strap and try again...

oxnard111 tried it as well and it didnt work..it lasted about 5 minutes...im gonna glass in an aluminum plate on my new ski and screw into that
i dont know how you got it to stick before??..better prep?...more filler??
