Stunt Hull: Build-up Kit

Few Q's if I may?

1) Could you mount a RRP pole under the hood as shown? Would you still be able to use the pole breathers or would the cut outs be ill advised?
2) Are the inserts for ride plate bolts and pump shoe already glasses in or does the builder need to do that?
3) Can an XFT water box, B pipe and Cart tank all fit in OK?
4) What's the lead time from order?
5) Can you do in different gelcoat colours or white only?
6) Footholds - are they included/fitted or extra?
7) How many pounds lighter is it than a typical stock RN SJ hull
8) Will all the items from a 2002 SJ transfer straight in (apart from pump shoe)?

Thanks and a great looking product!

Chad's build is good info but it's not exactly this kit. This kit comes with more than what Chad got so if you buy this kit, you won't have to build a bulkhead like he did.

1. If the RRP will bolt up to a normal bracket it will work fine but I wouldn't advise running that bracket. The breather holes would be no problem.

2. The Inserts come with the hull but the builder installs them.

3. XFT waterbox, tank and B pipe will work fine.

4. I'm taking some time off for christmas and have orders that will keep me busy until Christmas. So end of Janurary early Feburary would be when you'd get it if you ordered soon.

5. I'm offering the hull in white and black gelcoat right now.

6. Footholds are $50 extra

7. A stock superjet thats reinforced is normally about 130-145. The Stunt is 70-80 lbs. So at least 40-50lbs lighter.

8. And yes everything will transfer except the tank and waterbox. With a kart tank you may be able to use the stock waterbox or with a small waterbox a stock tank MAY be doable.

May seem odd to ask,but how would you strap things down to the hull.Like a water box for instance, you need someting to anchor down too.Would you glass an screw insert or something you could hook into?

The kit comes with fittings to mount the tank and waterbox with. I'm not positive on how you mount them but since Dan keep saying things are in the instructions manual that I never would've guessed, I'm sure instructions on mounting those fittings will be clear.

is this hull loosely based on the Lenzi platform? it looks to share some similarities.

This hull wouldn't conform to length or width regulations for competition freestyle so it'd be tough to say that it's based on any one hull over another. The pole mounting location does look similar though but I think it's mostly just because this hull is a foot shorter than stock.

No, I did the design about two years ago now. Lenzi's is fairly new but I don't think they really look alike at all anyways.

We are planning on getting the hull in competitions this upcoming year. It may be a little short for the rulebook but so is most other hulls. Not to mention hardly any of the riders run the same hull design as their motor brand in Pro anyways.

A fine example is Lenzi's win this year. He was using a polaris motor with a hull that was about the same size as the stunt and that in no way resembled a Polaris Octane.

Anyone have one of these already assembled with a b-pipe in it? What is the clearance between the b-pipe and the side of the hull?
