I'm really excited about everything, Ed has his in hand, and we are learning a few things already like how it's not the easiest to be able to get a drill to line up and make the holes for the bolts for the handlepole, etc... I hope you guys can make it down to wavedaze we are going to have alot of freaks there. We should start a gang :)

Man I can't wait to get this thing here! I'm working on getting the mag pump/ reduction nozzle assembled. I needed to get new hardware the way skat fused the stator and wear ring means my old long pump bolts can't be used.

Awesome Josh! Thanks for the pic, pics! Let me know how things are going so I can get things arranged for shipping. I was hoping it was going to get to you primered already. I guess Tem got busy getting your other ski hull done.

**** update ****

This thread will now be known as the superfreak in less than a week thread, Josh picked up the ski for me and the ski has not been primered as I had hoped it would be, that has me set back a number of days from where I had hoped to be. I'm still hopeful to have it done by wavedaze but that remains to be seen, I'm not going to shoot myself in the foot long term to Half arse the build just to get it done. I'm a little disappointed about it as we have already booked the rooms and I may quite possibly not have a ski to ride, but such is life doing a custom build I suppose.

Don't sweat it. There will be other rides, make sure you build this the right way.
I was really shooting to have mine done for a March 18th freeride. I just got the Freak wet for the first time on Saturday, a full three weeks later. It takes time to do a good job.

I know, and it is done when it's done, I plan to have this done the right way the first time. If it's not ready I'll be the designated drunk/ creepy camera guy at wavedaze I will singlehandedly run the other guys' girls picture thread if need be.

I know we are 4 reasonably talented guys. I'm not a defeatist by any stretch, but I'm also a realist and don't want to sacrifice quality for having it now. I'm all for trying to get it done, and we will probably even succeed. He'll if you can re-attach most of the nose of your sj one night and ride the next morning wencan do just about anything. I better make a beer run soon! Or should we go with redbulls and vodka?

Did I mention that these builds take at least three times as long as originally anticipated?
