anybody got some extra grey underpadding they are not using and would like to get some cash for? I cannot see buying an entire sheet if i am not going to use but 1/4 of it...

You can order tray sized pieces. Costs about 20-25 bucks.

i just did turf on my girls new freak build the other day,been using the black 25mm underpad. very plush leaving hanging over top of holds 20 or so mm as per berkys rec.
and i taper it 45 deg to rear edge of tray.

What do you guys use to sand that black stuff? Nothing I use seems to touch it.

Flap wheel on a dremel or 36 grit by hand.

l use like 60 grid paper and sand one way......Also,l like to start with taking a olfa blade and make some primary cuts to what you want to shape.And you really don't have to do a perfect job,cause the turf will help to shape too.

I used a 2" sanding disk on r angle die grinder 36 grit

My DA with 80 grit sure struggles to get the job done. Will get something more course next time.

I'm with Don. I use 60 grit on a DA sander.

i appreciate it...i was just thinking about doing the top and bottom lip of my hold...

do the sandwich idea...

okay so im thinning out the toe about 1/2 way right now with razor blades and sand paper

got a bottle of fireball and I'm about to start glueing

Two coats on both the padding and the ski and let them dry right?
