Yes it's painted but even unpainted they look the same way because I use about a pint of ultra white gel coat on each set of sponsons to match the superjet hull.

I'm completely sold out of SuperJet Sponsons at the moment and won't be making anymore for a few weeks.

I got mine on last weekend. I used 5200 so it's not near as pretty as your example but it works for me. 1 1/2 tubes of 5200 fast cure and $16 worth of stainless screws.

Let me know when you have more available. I may want to replace the tubbies on my 96.

that funny that this thread gets bumped... i just finished cabosilling my right tubbie on now. got a heater on it now to get it to cure.


gonna sand it tomorow and do the other side. then i gotta get a hold of some thin carbon to wrap the side of the ski in. then ill post up some pics. right now it looks terrible because the spot from the old sponsons is showing.

Just put mine on the other day....Piece of cake! just gotta sand off some of the 404 and repaint the bottom.

Thanks for posting the install pictures, they're lookin' good and I'm sure you'll be pleased with how they will improve the handling of your ski.
