You're both wrong, it's red/black Silly Putty/Playdough twill, it's so easy to work with a kid can do it.

So I was putting up some pink panther R13 insulation in my garage last night and I could not help but think what it would be like to squish a piece flat and soak it with resin.

I think you could make a friggin ship hull out of it.

old ski:
engine (longblock, electric box, cables, carbs, headpipe is the only thing removed): 80.4lbs
everything else (gas tank empty): 217.8lbs
total weight ready to ride except gas: 298.2lbs

I'm using a small battery, Jetcraft waterbox, no side exhaust, etc so it's fairly light.
 
That is why yours felt so light 26.5 pounds would be a big difference. I understand 10 pounds was the battery but that is still a bunch.

Soak that square bottom down with some "Industrial Equipment Simple Green". It takes EVERYTHING off.

I am interested to see what top deck you got too!

Plus the builder is personally delivering mine to make sure everything is good to go, so we'll see who wins.
